From the war memorial along the brook to teh common woods,  but straight onto Lower Ladyes Hill, up Tainters HIll, across to Upper Spring Lan, then cut back through tree tunnel footpath. Across the crossroads over to the Castle, up then down Purlieu Lane, around outside Castle walls back to the Tiltyard, then round and up Forrest Road.
