Description

Spicy beef fajita mixture - served with warmed flour tortillas, guacamole, salsa and sour cream

Ingredients

500Grambeef steak (best beef you can find, sliced into thin strips)
2 onion (large, sliced)
2Clovegarlic (crushed)
1 red pepper (sliced)
1 green pepper (sliced)
1 green chilli (optional, thinly sliced)
1⁄2Teaspoon (Metric)ground cumin
1⁄2Teaspoon (Metric)ground coriander
1⁄2Teaspoon (Metric)cayenne pepper
1⁄2Teaspoon (Metric)ground ginger
1⁄2Teaspoon (Metric)cinnamon
2Teaspoon (Metric)lemon juice
2Tablespoon (Metric)tequila (optional - could use sherry)
1Packageflour tortillas

Instructions

Heat oil in a large frying pan and when hot throw in the thinly sliced beef and fry briskly for a good 5 minutes.

Add in the onions and garlic and saute, then add in the sliced up peppers.

Add the spices and lemon juice and tequila if using.
