Description
Spaghetti Bolognese
Ingredients
| 500 | Gram | minced beef (preferably lean) |
| 1 | Can | tinned tomatoes (chopped) |
| 1 | onion (large chopped) | |
| 1 | Clove | garlic (crushed) |
| 2 | Tablespoon (Metric) | tomato puree |
| 1⁄2 | Cup | red wine (half a glass) |
| 2 | Teaspoon (Metric) | basil |
| 1 | Pinch | salt |
| 1 | Pinch | pepper |
| 1 | chicken stock cube | |
| 500 | Gram | spaghetti (or other pasta) |
| 1 | Teaspoon (Metric) | oregano |
Instructions
Cook onions and garlic together until softened, add mincemeat and brown.
Then add other ingredients and cook for 10 minutes.
Allow approximately 100g spaghetti pasta per person, place in large open pan of boiling salted water and simmer vigorously for 9-10 minutes.
