Description

Spaghetti Bolognese

Ingredients

500Gramminced beef (preferably lean)
1Cantinned tomatoes (chopped)
1 onion (large chopped)
1Clovegarlic (crushed)
2Tablespoon (Metric)tomato puree
1⁄2Cupred wine (half a glass)
2Teaspoon (Metric)basil
1Pinchsalt
1Pinchpepper
1 chicken stock cube
500Gramspaghetti (or other pasta)
1Teaspoon (Metric)oregano

Instructions

Cook onions and garlic together until softened, add mincemeat and brown.

Then add other ingredients and cook for 10 minutes.

Allow approximately 100g spaghetti pasta per person, place in large open pan of boiling salted water and simmer vigorously for 9-10 minutes.
