Sticky and gingery cake
Ingredients
| 3 | Ounce | icing sugar |
| 1 1⁄2 | Ounce | margarine for icing |
| syrup from the stem ginger | ||
| 4 | Ounce | margarine (melted in the microwave- but not too runny) |
| 4 | Ounce | golden syrup |
| 4 | Ounce | caster sugar |
| 6 | Ounce | self-raising flour |
| 1 | egg | |
| 1 | Tablespoon (Metric) | ground ginger |
| 1⁄4 | Pint | milk |
| Unknown | stem ginger |
Instructions
Fold in the flour.
Place in oven at 160C for about 40 minutes or more
