Description
Spicy (optional) chilli - serve with rice and/or crispy tortilla chips and guacamole/sour cream combo
Ingredients
| 500 | Gram | minced beef (preferable lean) |
| 1 | onion (large chopped) | |
| 1 | Clove | garlic (crushed) |
| 1 | Can | tinned tomatoes (chopped) |
| 2 | Tablespoon (Metric) | tomato puree |
| 1 | beef stock cube | |
| 1 | Can | red kidney beans (optionally "in chilli sauce" variety) |
| 1 | red pepper (sliced) | |
| 1 | green pepper (sliced) | |
| 2 | Teaspoon (Metric) | lea and perrins worcester sauce |
| 1⁄2 | Teaspoon (Metric) | ground cumin |
| 1⁄2 | Teaspoon (Metric) | paprika |
| 1 | Teaspoon (Metric) | chilli powder (optional) |
| 1 | Pinch | black pepper (ground) |
Instructions
Cook the onion and garlic until soft, then add the minced beef and brown it. Add the tomatoes, puree, stock cube.
Add in the worcester sauce and spices, the kidney beans and the sliced peppers and cook for 10-15 minutes
