A similar story tonight of a battling performance and excellent effort rewarded by another loss. Tonight's evening game was our first without star keeper Kyle, so Oli stepped into his gloves and between the sticks. He did a fine job for the Colts too, making some good saves, and beaten only by genuinely well taken shots.
Overall the team played well together with good passing and defending on the whole. There were the usual moments of static ball-watching but we were beaten by good goals.
Max came closest to scoring, his effort just skimming the far post, but there were other exciting moments too. Plenty to keep the fans encouraging the boys forward. However, there were no goals for us today
